I thought this excellent photo, posted by Scaramouche, might respond well to colourisation, apart from young 'clippie' Pat Rainford’s uniform it nearly did.

I noticed the little drawings on the inside flap of the conductress's bag when it was colourised....I hadn't noticed them on the black-and-white photo!

I think the seats on the buses were more like the colour of that uniform and the uniform was more like the colour of the seats?

There are a variety of outcomes with colourisation using the algorithm but I’m often surprised how, at times, certain things (usually small) and often unnoticed in the b/w version, suddenly become noticeable.
