I find these mini biographies fascinating. To think he was a Desert Rat in his late teens and ended up as a driver. He went in the Army as a boy and came out of it as a man. I hope some of his family see this they will be so proud of him.

My dad was in the Royal Artillery, in the African Campaign, and was later in Italy.Also my aunt worked at Heinz, Kitt Green,and got her gold Rolex watch when she retired.Which I now have.

My dad served in North Africa wi desert rats and then Italy too but didn't say much about its a shame really but that's what it was like back then they brag about sadly he passed away age 63 in 1985 sadly missed by all RIP TOP MAN N DAD GOD BLESS
