A northbound parcels train steams past the old LNWR signal box at rylands sidings in 1967.
The box at rylands closed in 1972 when the power signal box at warrington opened.

At last, one of Rylands box. My grandfather worked in here in the early 60's. In the holidays and weekends I used to go and sit in with him and help pull the levers. Great memories.

I remember one of the signal in the late 1960's/early seventies at Rylands Sidings was Richard Long.

I spent many a happy afternoon in the early fifties in the cabin. Especially remember pulling off the distant at Boars Head.
