I attended Thomas Linacre School between September 1955 and July 1960. I was in forms 1C, 2C, 3B, 4B and 5B.
I am positioned on the middle row, 5th from the left. Anthony Flatley, who I believe emigrated to New Zealand, is on the niddle row, 2nd from the right.
I believe the person on the right hand side of the Form Master, Mr. Berry is named "Daz" Davies and the person on the back row, 4th from the left is named Threlfall?

hI, The boy in the middle row 5th from left is Anthony Flatley.He does live in New Zealand and he was in here in Wigan a few weeks ago. His wife and I were best friends at school. They always spend time with us when they are over here. My brother, Eric caswell, also went to the Thomas Linacre between approx 1953 and 1960.
It wasn't Daz Davies in the front row, it was Dai Davies
2nd from the right on the front row is Higham (David?)
More names come back to me. On Kenny Evan's left is(Anthony?)Waterworth, and front row far left is (?) Pemberton. Other names in mind are Jowett, Fairhurst,Housely, but they must have been in other forms by then.
I think Brian Sutton is 3rd from the right, Back row, and Graham Lythgow is in the middle of the back row
The boy on the front row, second from the right is James (Jimmy) Higham
I see some of my schoolmates here. I was at TL 1953-58. The friends I remember where Roy Hull, Clive Spooner & John Thompson. His initials were JET and I was a good runner but he always ran faster than me! We used to play soccer on a ground that was a couple of miles away in a reclaimed slag heap. I used to run there and back to avoid playing soccer! I left for Australia in 1963 but regular visit mum who lives near Chorley. Would like to meet up with any mate in form A & B during that period.
