The girl at the far right, middle row, is Ann Duddle and I am the fourth from the right, middle row, between Olive Bradburn and Edna Lowe (who I think was actually Edna Holland)

Front row Nora Birch and Irene Sargent. Now Nora Blackledge.
Alice Haselden I remember you! We were monitors together in Mr. Asbridge's class at St. Mary's Junior School.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to trace a relative of mine (third cousin) called Jean Proctor (who may be in this pic!).

She lived at 36 Charterhouse Road, Lower Ince, in the 1980s but has since moved on.

In the 1950s she worked as a dental nurse or similar for an NHS dental practice in Wigan (Mr Purslow was the dentist).

Her father was Joe Proctor, who was a train driver. He remarried after Jean's mother died.

She had an elder brother called Jack Proctor.

If any of this rings a bell with anyone, I'd love to hear from you.

Thank you,
Phoebe

For Colin Ibbetson really if he reads it! I was at school with you in the 60’s and just hope you are keeping well. Got shipped off to the grammar school and lost touch with everyone after that! Britannia Bridge was my first school! Lives at 35 Warrington road.
