St Mary's Vicarage was not behind the wall in the 1950s. The Revd Samuel Bryson lived in part of the Hall of Ince between the wars. His replacement, the Revd. J Bebb, lived in a house in Spring View, and his replacement, the Revd. N Williams, lived in the Vicarage at the top of Westwood Lane, Lower Ince.

I used to visit a friend when I was a small boy in that house behind the wall on the left I don't remember his name though. My grandparents was at # 2 Rocky bank Terrace the Parkinsons.I lived there till I was 6 years old then we moved to # 5 Hilton Street I went to st Mary's school shown on the right,then on to spring view school
