hi ken , iv,e informed brian about W/W & he says he,ll look it up.
Hi - I'm Carol Littler, Brian Appleton's daughter. My dad said he was talking to someone in Ashton today and they told him to look up this site. I'll see him tomorrow and show him. I've got two football mad son's and they thought it was great to see their grandad in a football kit. He did have trials for Aston Villa but dislocated his knee. He's dislocated it loads of times since. My dad still lives in Billinge and these days, you are most likely to catch up with him in Bispham Club, Smethurst Road.
Hi ken, I've been looking through these pictures with my grandad, jack Ashurst, but can't seem to find him on any, he's sure he should be on a few pics as he played with most of the lads in the pictures. Thanks
