I am not used to using this word much...but Wow!! What a wonderful pic that is Alan.

I see Ozy is still having trouble with the Aga.

Great photo Alan, worth framing that is.

Beautiful, and caught just at the right moment.....half an hour before or after and it would't have looked the same....the sky changes so quickly.

So that’s why we’ve not heard from him Dtease?.. Ashes to ashes ….. dust to dust , and all that! I’m sure he’ll pop up somehow … he was always a pioneer.

How spectacular . Between about 6 and 7 pm the October sky becomes my Television .

One of the best photos we’ve had on POD. Well done Alan.

DTease

Ozy missed his way. He has a wordsmiths way with words. He could have been a 21st century Shakespeare.

Except when” it’s much
ado about nothing “‘….
‘Life is but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts on ‘P a D’and then is heard no more”.
Asleep in yonder shelter…Wake up Ozy ! “Cry ‘havoc’ and let slip the dogs of war “…….

A superb Sky, one of the best, the colours are amazing.

Keith, myself and Veronica have been crossing swords with Ozy on and off for some time now, it’s nothing serious, just a bit of banter between friends.
I do agree with you about him having a way with words though.
He even offered to leave his Aga to me in his will, along with his last remains, to scatter in my garden, despite the fact that he had insisted on not being cremated! I had to turn him down on that one! I have enough trouble with dogs in my garden as it is!

Nice one Alan. Nature does paint some wonderful pictures for us to behold, or has John Ruskin puts it -

"Nature is painting for us, day after day, pictures of infinite beauty." - John Ruskin.

Very good Veronica. A duo with Ozy?

Comment by: Veronica on 9th October 2022 at 16:55

Keith it would be more a terrible trio with Dtease, Ozy and me.
We could put him in a deep freeze in case he happens to come to Dtease. If only we could find his top set though….

Looks like a tropical scene, so beautiful. You're right Irene about how quickly the skies change. We have some stunning morning skies over the bay, but in the space of minutes, the colours have seeped away.

Comment by: Cyril on 9th October 2022 at 21:18

Veronica and DTease, still looking for Ozy's top set - this man's dog brought a top set home, though he said he'd like to keep them as they're a good fit.

Turner would be hard pressed to paint a better sky than this.

Comment by: Wigan Mick on 10th October 2022 at 06:55

We shall rest, and, faith we shall need it…
