Johnny i would think the tree would be a later edition to the church yard because i think the church was built in the fifteen hundreds.

Maureen/ Johnny I'm reminded of when our art club went for a painting session at the Owls in Standish ( with lunch). We were all painting the trees and lovely stone building. About five years ago, but still got the painting as a reminder of a lovely warm summer's day..

I can't imagine those gates clanging into each other on their closing - closed 'shy of each other', instead. Nicely.
