Someone has gone to a lot of trouble to create that lovely 'oasis' at the edge of the canal. I hope it stays like that.

A nice garden layout that's worthy of a shout.

That's much better than some front and maybe back gardens to be seen. Excellent.

Not too much trouble to make things nice. It's a credit to whoever has taken pride. Nice people in Top Lock it will stay like that.
Nice photo.

I think the man responsible for the nice garden is John Evans from the Wigan flight crew

Again an excellent photograph Mick, and a lot of time and effort has been put into this scheme by the gardener

It’s funny how we humans need order ,
Things tidy and always in line ,
Discarded rubbish upsets us,
is this simple or unconscious sublime ..

We are calm when things are in order ,
when our flowerbeds grow how they should , but when a weed pops up between them
we savage them with venom and blood

We humans for now are the Masters ,
the guardians of the place we call Earth ,
But I doubt the cosmos views straight lines ,
with the same kind of purpose or worth .

Who are the weeds on our planet ,
Who decides who they should be ,
Yes , my friends , the same table ,
Same straight lines , same order , same ME!

Acceptance is really quite simple,
Take for granted is obviously free,
But unfortunately the balance is changing ,
Which one day we humans will see ...

Lifts my spirit when I walk past this! Great photo, shows off the whitewash! Bravo to the canal volunteers.
