A bridge too far?
Ample room on the bridge for Banksy to depict a rowing Eight. I can see it now, with speech bubbles from cox Veronica; Feeling strong, We're movin' now, Swing together, Girls . . . .
Philip, he could make an exception and give Veronica some bottle green shorts.
She would be in the rear with a cloud of wasps and midges around her head and a bottle of vinegar in her hand shouting "Faster girls, faster".
Unfortunately , the type of Cox that are most likely to adorn the bridge have been aired before.
Strangely enough - I bought the complete collection of " It ain't Half Hot Mum" today in Sainsbury's. The picture on the front shows the cast and Gunner 'Lofty' Sugden (aka Don Estelle )is wearing shorts just like the ones I wore at school - down to his knees- aaaggghhh!****But what a great voice that man had.
And how splendid she would then appear, DTease; Proud with champer hidden beneath her thwart, and shocked when passing the Howfen 'Group sketching intently half a mile downstream.
I must confess Poet, I feel a tad inadequate when I see the size of some of the drawing you refer to.
I think the artist must be a fisherman and prone to a little exaggeration.
