What a dear little place, I love it !

Aye, Helen, but I'm afraid its gates and arbour would have to be sorted out; and perhaps a Rambler on its gable end.

That would do me - It looks like it's for sale!
Surely it's not always been a house.... Looks like a kitchen extension has been added on.
It won't be cheap!

You are right Philip, a Rambling Rector rose on the wall, traditional wooden gates, but is that a pub right next door ?

Comment by: Philip G. on 12th April 2019 at 12:24

I'm not sure about there being a pub alongside, Helen, as I don't know that particular area, nor had I known of the rose 'Rambling Rector' - you educated me there, girl.

Helen of Troy, the sign next to the house is an estate agent's for sale sign.

Oh, Philip men could be educated a lot more by girls (?) if they only listened !!

Interesting photo Mick, is this the corner of Dukes Row?

Comment by: Local lad on 13th April 2019 at 16:12

Ken R. Yes it is, and actually it's a shed!

As a girl I lived quite close by Dukes Row, I do believe it was occupied at that time. It’s seen better days by the look of it.

It's an out building and belongs to the end cottage in Dukes Row.
