Mick, Thank you ! this is a lovely photo of a very popular place, the sort I love to look at and expect from you. Having lived far from Wigan for the past 35 years its good to see the things I remember from my youth. The building looks like it is now apartments, is it ?.

Wiggin Lad. It was built in 1907. My mother worked there. It is now apartments.

I worked there in 1965. I remember it as being very dingy - in the card room. Nice picture by the way.
