A 'jolly' type of scene Ron. Nicely.

Have you been zipping around with your chainsaw Ron. Incidentally, nice pic.

Wiganers have always enjoyed the grounds of the Hall. The fashions have changed and will change again but the scene is timeless.

Why don't they just chop ALL the trees down and turn it into one great big commercial enterprise? They could call it Wiganworld Theme Park. They could have Flat Cap Skimming Contests and Pie Eating Contests, Whippet Racing and Tay Supping from a Saucer contests. No need for all that greenery at all.
OK, I'm being sarcastic, but that's the way it's going.

'I know lets pretend the tree trunks are Dinosaurs'. .says Zac .'Yeah- good idea. - I'm being the leader though' said Jason!
Lots of fun to be had there for the adventurous....

Such a nice refreshing scene...thank you Ron.

The tree is great for leaning you bikes on if you dont have a proper bike stand like me.

Comment by: Dave on 14th August 2018 at 16:03

Mick , not wishing , but when the time comes for you to visit the bike shed in the sky , I just wondered what provision you have made for your beloved bike ? It has traveled too far and wide to be handed to someone else . How would your soul rest in peace knowing someone else is on it .
Will it be buried with you ? Cremated perhaps in a Shevvy type Viking ceremony ( thrown into the Dougie ) That bike is as much part of you as Compo’s ferrets or Nora Batty’s stockings . Long may your rain soaked face catch Wigan’s wind .

That's a fine tribute Dave. I only pray that Mick isn't one of those charlies who cycle around with a camera on their head.

Comment by: DTease on 14th August 2018 at 22:41

Dave, I think it would be a fitting tribute if it was shot into space along with Mick’s camera, where it could wander the universe for the next million years taking photos of every curious thing it comes across and beaming them back to wiganworld for us to look at.
It’s endless mission? To boldly go where no e-bike as ever been before.
