England on a summers day
A boat on water mirrored
A shady tree by an old stone bridge
Is heaven on earth delivered.

A splendid Photo, Mick. Thanks.
And there's 'a million' things to like about it: 1. The stone bridge. 2. The …, no better not, I'll return frequently to your photo, and Mr Tease's fine lines in quiet contemplation instead.

Who needs to seek out "that sweet city with her dreaming spires" when Haigh lies on the doorstep. A place taken for granted just because 'its there'!

So hot on the boating pond at Haigh.
No snoozing breeze at all
To ease the two canoes along.
No dipping oars to let
The cutting blades
Unzip the silver waters sheen,
Or ripple the sliced green cobbled
Where big carp lull' neath the dripping sycamores.

Good one Mick. A slightly different slant on "that Bridge again"
