Fire And Ice, I can understand Ice when something gets so cold it goes solid, but Fire is a different thing all together because theres nothing there unless theres something to burn.

Comment by irene roberts on 20th December 2017 at 09:16
The reflection really does look like a fire that is melting the ice!

Fascinating. Like a Rothko colour field painting.

Well done David all you snappers are devoted. I wonder if it was your reflection Irene what you turn it back into the mind boggles.x

You are one fine photographer David. Superb colours on a dank winter’s day. You can almost feel the heat coming from the ‘fire’. Lovely.
Nadolig Llawen to you one and all from Pembrokeshire!

You’ ve Lost me there, Jim. Do you mean what would I do if it was MY reflection in the water? I would say, “Who is the fairest one of all?”, of course!

Comment by Maurice on 20th December 2017 at 15:59
Well spotted, the reflection works a treat.

Just short of a water lily or two - could be a Monet !

Comment by Ellen on 20th December 2017 at 22:18
Beautiful!...It's all been said, anything more would be Gilding the lily!

Comment by Maureen on 20th December 2017 at 22:46
Veronica, I've just been looking at the portraits of Rembrants Mother,if you enlarge them, they're absolutely unbelievable.

Comment by Veronica on 21st December 2017 at 10:03
Wouldn't mind finding one of his in the attic Maureen! (highly unlikely).
