Boating, fishing, riding. Aspullers have a terrible life don't they?

Not to forget walking along the towpath, DTease.
Thanks for another great photo, Ron :o)

I like the activity on here...the boat, the fisherman, the girl on the horse and the young Mum with two children walking away, maybe after shopping. It's just so full of life at a gentle pace.

At 1st I thought the fisherman had a remote control for the barge then I put my glasses on. Very scenic shot.

I know towpaths were built for horses, but are horses, other than those pulling boats, allowed on the path?

They're certainly more welcome than motorbikes!

It's all going on up there!

If the photo would have been taken 10 minutes earlier it would have had me on peddling my bike towards Haigh Hall.

Great busy photo Ron. The house directly above the boat look like an end house in the row. If my memory serves the original end house was blown away with a German bomb, and the house was never replaced ( I know not why) I can't remember the name of the Street that is there.
