Love this shade of green, its the same colour as my garage doors

Is that car a Morris?.

This 1939 Minx was next to our Hillman Minx. I agree about the beautiful shade of green. Ours is 1959 but is still an "oldie", (like us!), and didn't look out of place. A brilliant day despite "iffy" weather.

Excellent photo, is it a Royal navy Vehicle?

Comment by: Veronica on 21st September 2017 at 15:24

I wondered if it was a naval vehicle as well!
It's a very smart looking car anyway.

A credit to whoever owned the car,it is BRG and cellulose polished much better than the modern paint, easy to touch up too.

It is a Royal Navy vehicle but the shield on the front is a Royal Marines badge which of course, is a branch of the Royal Navy.

I think the paint is Kemitone Burger Coach body paint, and most likely hand painted
