That really is an excellent photograph.
St Wilfrid's is one of the more interesting genuinely old churches in Lancashire - sorry to any younger people, but "Greater Manchester" just doesn't work for me.

The Churchyard looks very well kept ....it must be shady for the bluebells to grow there.

I love seeing spring flowers in a churchyard. I have happy memories of walking round there with my best friend, marvelling at how old some of the graves are.
