Beautiful shot; brings back many memories.
Its as if time has stood still here - away from the rat race. Lovely picture .....capturing the calmness.
There are some lovely places to moor up along this canal. Incidentally, the boats are called Narrow Boats. We had a share in on for a few years, had some wonderful times on board.
Maggie,I do envy you,the only experience I had was a week on the Thames and I loved every minute on that boat..I didn't want to leave it..

Been stood on that bridge today looking out at that boat, lovely picture, and it was so peaceful, gorgeous.
Maureen whats stopping you from going having a canal boat ride.
Just do it instead of thinking about it.
