This is all wrong women shouldn't be allowed to call themselves Barbershop singers, they should stick to being be Hairdressers singers.

I am certain that the singing brought happiness to the listeners but why couldnt the organisers have made that plain canvas tent look a bit more festive ? When you see old photos of events that took place years ago, flags, flowers, greenery , you name it, decked the halls...or tents !

Yip I have to agree with Helen. There is no better place than in Wigan Town centre on a late Thursday evening shopping night, just before Christmas, listening the Salvation Army band, playing all the best known Christmas carols, surrounded by shoppers. Now that's what I call Christmas.

Just noticed the scarves are the same colour as the decor in the Hall.....the colour looks nice in scarves. I bet the choir sounds wonderful and I hope they were warm enough!

Mick, lady barbers are not uncommon these days, I had my hair cut by one only a week ago. In fact, I can remember a lady barber cutting my hair as far back as 1981 and that's when I still had enough to be worth cutting regularly.

Christmas? Just another money making racket. Hi-jacked by the fat-cats in order to ensure THEY don't have to choose between eating or heating. When will all this claptrap stop?

Christine Never. Because Christmas is a great time. The thing is about Christmas is it all depends on how are you fixed, in terms of money. If you've got money no problem if not, well I can understand you point.
Merry Xmas x.

I reckon it will stop, Garry. Once the ordinary folk finally remove their blinkers and realise they're being taken for a ride. It may not happen in this century...but it will definitely occur. Brainwashing can only go so far.
