Sorry to disturb you

Sorry to disturb you
I’d put some old fencing panels over a woodpile I was seasoning for my log fire - when I went to put the pile under proper cover for the winter, I found these two hidden between two panels.
Perhaps they had hoped to spend the winter there. The toad seems to have taken on the colour of the panels. Hopefully they’ve found somewhere better to hibernate by now.

Good one Rev. Do you think that a toad on the fence is worth two toads in a hole?

Theres a lot of waste on a frog when you think that we only eat the back legs.
In Singapore they like to eat them in porridge

Just little beings trying to make their way in this world, just like all of us.

Rev David... just googled toads. The funny coloured one appears to be native to Sri Lanka....???

Could be the dye from the fence panel treatment
