Nice photo david, I'll have a large loaf and can you slice it thin please.

Great photo David. The van brings the senses of smell and taste to your imagination.

Hovis claim the bread is made as it has always been made. Today's vans certainly aren't. The van begging to be photographed and what a super piccy.

I can imagine the countless times this vehicle may driven over the cobbled streets stopping at shops delivering fresh bread! Ah, the smell!

I think Anne and Giovanni may have been fooled. This 'classic' van is actually only just over 20 years old, being a modern recreation based on a 1991 Ford Transit chassis.

Thanks Phil for that.
Nevermind, I'm sure a similar van would have made the journey delivering the much needed staff of life!

Phil is correct the van is a Transit chassis and fitted with a Transit diesel engine ,my neighbour who maintains the vans at British Bakeries also asked me to make a new toolbox which I did, and it is fitted to the running boards which you can see in the photo, thank you for all your comments.

Phil... Am familiar with recreations the wheels give it away.
