Cute and quirky!

Comment by: peterp on 24th October 2014 at 04:39

the modern and the traditional side by side. Seems a pity to cut into the cake.

Comment by: Mick on 24th October 2014 at 07:06

What a sweet photo.

Comment by: Mick on 24th October 2014 at 08:46

peterp trouble is you cant cut into cakes like these without them falling to bits.

I wouldnt mind taking a bet on how long the marriage will last for any couple choosing to have a wedding cake like this one.

Comment by: Giovanni on 24th October 2014 at 09:25

Bit over the top!
I prefer the more traditional and the groom looks drunk!

Comment by: Kenee on 24th October 2014 at 10:20

Despicable !

Comment by: A.W on 24th October 2014 at 10:28

Mick, it's not about having a marriage nowadays it's about having a wedding - or should I say "weddings"

Comment by: David on 24th October 2014 at 12:18

must get an iphone 6.

Comment by: Jean F (Wales) on 24th October 2014 at 14:34

Well done to all the "bakers"
made me smile a lot.

Comment by: Anne on 24th October 2014 at 14:42

Wonder how many of those will sell?

Comment by: Julie on 24th October 2014 at 16:48

Mick, you do puzzle me sometimes. The second sentence of your second comment I,m afraid leaves me at a loss. But, saying that , so does Kenee ,s comment. I,m clearly missing something here as I just saw it as funny and amusing picture. Despicable it is not in any sense of the word.

Comment by: Mick on 24th October 2014 at 18:53

Julie what Im saying is any couple who go in for wedding cakes like this there marriages wont last to long.

I blame the X factor, Jordan and the bimbos who come on GMTV

Comment by: gem on 24th October 2014 at 19:08

Despicable Me.....comes from the film....

Comment by: truwigana on 25th October 2014 at 10:01

first Mick can judge a person by their bin, and now by their wedding cake. hahahahaha

Perhaps Mick, but surely a marriage with fun and laughter also helps to make it work.

Jordan, they say Mick, is worth forty million, X factor is watched my million ( never watched it myself) don,t know about the bimbos on GMTV you refer to. A lot of people slate Jordan but to earn so much money and fame for doing what she does , shows someone with her head screwed on. I know people on this forum will disagree. Sorry to spread this out just responding to Micks point.

Comment by: Ellen on 25th October 2014 at 20:32

Mick; how do you come up with the idea of predicting the length and quality of a marriage based on the choice of a wedding cake???--Or are you simply trying to provoke comment?
Jean; your comment about the smile is spot on!!

Ellen, Absolutely!, Mick , you cannot keep running away, making one line sentences , without explaining them in some kind of detail, What exactly do you mean? Pray, give us a paragraph,, I,m trying to understand you.

some detail.

It's even nicer when you actually see it in the window.

You seem to be getting dafter, Mick. Your comments are becoming irrational.

Comment by: Donna on 31st October 2014 at 14:36

Their, Mick - not there. I wish you'd sort out your spelling. It gives us Wiganers a bad name!

Comment by: Jennifer on 12th January 2016 at 09:38

These cakes are not real cakes. They are polystyrene dummy's. It costs a few quid for that as compared to the huge cost of a fruit cake, and they don't go "off" !

The icing and sugar figures will keep indefinitely.

It's easy to tell if you look at the bottom tier of the main cake, and the cake to the left, look how sharp the right angles are between top of the cake, and the sides. Real cakes are never so sharp!
