Nice picture Joe, I have passed the station many times but never been on it. I have some relatives named Grundy they used to live in Aspull near the bottom of Ivy Brow, I think it was High St. Keep snapping.

That's an excellent photograph Joe. The pole on the left lets us know exactly where we are. The lamp posts getting smaller as they go off into the distance and the curve of the track lead us nicely through the picture. And to top it off an interesting sky. Thanks for sending it in.

I should declare an interest ,Joe is my Grandson, but it wasn't at my sugestion that he took photographs, he took them whilst waiting to board a train to Manchester Airport during the recent school holidays . I was amazed at the quality of the shots taken by an iPod ,I must confess I didn't realise you could take photographs on such a devise . Well done Joe !

Well done young Joe, looking East towards Crow Nest Junction over bridge. Sadly, the signal box closed in July last year, and demolished only some weeks ago. The Junction has been managed since July 2013, from Manchester power box.
