One of the best spots in all of Wigan to watch the setting sun, and I bet theres plenty of Wiganers dont know where it is.
i wonder what the guy is thinking about as he watches the sunset? and why is he alone? it looks quite a sad photo
Nice view Liz, My mother and father got married in 1947 at Christ Church Douglas-in-Parbold, the first church on the right. Some of my late family are laid to rest there, Thanks.

Kath, the guy in the photo is my other half. He was probably thinking "I wish she'd hurry up taking her photos, then we can go home".
It was a rather chilly evening. :D
It was moved here from it's original position by the quarry owners so they could quarry the stone from underneath it.
