Lovely photo, Roger. What a great time of the year. I remember the smells in Autumn also. Just read that Haigh woodland is now owned by the Woodland Trust.

Comment by: Ron D on 6th November 2012 at 13:23

I Would say the sun is coming over the photographer's right shoulder .and not taken into the sun. But that does not stop it being a pleasant picture.

Comment by: Ernest Pyke on 6th November 2012 at 16:37

Janice, I think Fred is fed up with photo`s taken in Haigh Country Park of which there`s been many.
Fred Mason, please tell us who Woodland Trust are.

Comment by: Mick on 6th November 2012 at 16:50

The Woodland Trust are going to start thinning out all those overgrown rhododendron like they have done in the Rivington Japanese gardens.

Comment by: Fred Mason on 6th November 2012 at 16:52

Yup, Don't know who this Fred is, but must be a sad case if he finds this photo boring...
