This is a Grade II, entrance block only, listed building.

If the council dont act soon to remove these weeds/trees from the dome, the roots will loosen the brickwork and cement....its just a matter of time. That's what Health and safety should be looking at, it's dangerous for people down on the streets.

A sad sight, there are lots of these around the town, the older weeds/trees dont get removed and there are always fresh ones growing.

Wigan Photographic society's darkroom ,and kitchen used to be just under this .To the right lecture room ,and to the left the studio .Along time since I was there.
