looking at the state of it, I think its waiting for its maker, on the other hand nice photo, its not easy to get near one of those birds

Silly Heron, you need water to catch fish... although looking at it, it's soaking wet already after a feed.

The bird was in a stream that flows into a Flash
It might have been having a rest after going in
deeper water

Some birds line their nests with their OWN BREAST FEATHERS.--- also frogs hide in tall grass.
