|Two charged after robbery and aggravated burglary - Wigan
Two men have been charged following a robbery and an aggravated burglary in Wigan.
Damian Long (born 08/03/1987) of Ascroft Avenue, Beach Hill and Daniel Morris (born 10/03/1986) of Oswald Street, Chorlton-cum-hardy, have both been charged with robbery and aggravated burglary.
Both appeared before Bury Magistrates Court today, Monday 19 January 2009.
These charges relate to two incidents that took place in Wigan.
One was an aggravated burglary, in the early hours of Friday 16 January 2009, where two men went inside a house on Hodges Street in Gidlow. The victims were tied up for over an hour, threatened and robbed.
The second incident was an attack that took place in the early hours of Saturday 17 January 2009, outside a house on Springfield Road.
A 61-year-old man had been robbed and assaulted. He was taken to hospital with a broken cheekbone.
