Missing from home - Shane Clarkson
Friday 28th November, 2008

Police are growing concerned for the whereabouts of a Wigan man who is missing from home.

Shane Lee Clarkson, 20, was last seen on 14 November 2008 at about 2.15pm near Wigan Bus Station on Hallgate.

He was reported missing from his home on Rosemary Crescent, Whelley, earlier that day.

He is described as white, about 6ft tall, of slim build with short brown hair and blue eyes. He also has stubble and speaks with a Midlands accent.

On the day of his disappearance, he was wearing a dark grey and black hooded jumper, black Diadora tracksuit bottoms and black and grey white trainers.

Police Sergeant John Scott, from Wigan Police Station, said: "Shane is a young man who lives with his parents, who are understandably worried as he has been missing for two weeks.

"I would appeal to anyone who knows of his whereabouts to come forward and speak to us as soon as possible so we can reunite Shane with his family."

Anyone with information should call Greater Manchester Police on 0161 872 5050.
