Police widen appeal for missing man
Daniel Palmer

POLICE in Blackburn have widened their appeal for a man who has been missing for 11 days.

Daniel Palmer, 26, Wensley Road, Blackburn was last seen in Langho shortly after midnight on Friday 19 October.

Today, police in Blackburn are widening their appeal to areas where Daniel is known to have connections, including Clitheroe, Preston, Chorley, Wigan and Scarborough.

Daniel is described as 6ft 2ins with a slim build and short dark brown hair which has recently been shaved. He has blue eyes and was last seen wearing a slate grey colour zip up nylon jacket and dark blue jeans. He was wearing a blue knitted hat and green and brown walking shoes. He was also carrying a blue and black rucksack.

Police are urging anyone who recognises the description or who sees Daniel to contact them.

PC Patrick Greene said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Daniel as he has not been seen for over a week. His family are extremely worried about him and he may not yet be aware that his father has recently returned from Cambodia and is keen to contact him.

“We know that Daniel withdrew £10 from a cash machine in Clitheroe on Saturday 20 October and he has connections in Preston, Chorley, Wigan and Scarborough. I appeal to anyone with information about the whereabouts of Daniel to contact the police immediately.

“Daniel’s mum is really concerned about him and wants him to know that he is not in trouble. We just want him to return home safe and well.”

Anyone with information can contact police on 0845 1 25 35 45.
