The chance to have your say in the General Election is almost here, donít lose your voice.
On Thursday 8th June Wigan Borough will cast their votes on a number of important issues such as child care, education, health, policing, transport and also funding of public services.
If you havenít already registered to vote unfortunately itís too late, but if you have make sure you cast your vote in time.
Polling stations will be open across the borough from 7am to 10pm on Thursday.
If you have lost your polling card you are still eligible to vote, all you need to do is turn up at your designated polling station and state your name and address, you will then be given your ballot paper.
Donna Hall, chief executive of Wigan Council, said: ďI canít stress enough how important it is that people across the borough take five minutes out of their day on Thursday to place their vote.
ďThis is the perfect opportunity for us to create the best future possible for the young people in the borough.Ē
