Missing from home appeal
Wednesday 20th September, 2006

Police in Wigan are appealing for help in tracing a 48-year-old man who went missing from the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary yesterday, Tuesday, 19 September 2006.

Stephen Johnson (born 17/6/58) was last seen at 2.10pm when he was being treated for a minor ailment.

He is described as around 5ft 10in tall, unshaven, wearing a football shirt, denim jacket and corduroy trousers. He was also wearing a hospital wristband and he walks with a pronounced limp.

Police are asking anyone who sees him or for Stephen himself to contact them at Leigh CID on 0161 856 7254.
