Creative Emotions to build resilience of Wigan’s children
Friday 10th June, 2016

Creative Emotions has come to Wigan to create a resilient future generation.

Janine White of Creative Emotions is combining many years of training and experience to provide creative ways to explore feelings.

Janine says that:

‘By providing a safe, non-judgemental and empathic setting for children to gain resilience, self -awareness and emotional regulation they can grow into competent, strong adults who can create a society full of ambition, personal belief and with the commitment to make a positive contribution.’

Support is given individually or in groups and holiday sessions have now been set up for the summer.

Janine is keen to reach the children and young people who do not seem to fit into other services. The aim is to build self-esteem, self-worth and coping abilities. She is also eager to work with other agencies, services and organisations to complete the gaps that led to her decision to start Creative Emotions.
