|Melanie C joins Jools for Wigan International Jazz Festival!
AWARD-winning singer songwriter Melanie C will be joining Marc Almond as a special guest of Jools Holland at The Wigan International Jazz Festival 2014.
The former Spice Girl will perform at the festival’s headline gig at Robin Park Indoor Sports Centre on Thursday 10 July next year.
Melanie started her career as Sporty Spice in world-famous girl band The Spice Girls. She has since achieved over three million album sales as a solo artist and has also crafted a career in theatre, starring in shows including Blood Brothers and Jesus Christ Superstar.

In addition to Mel C and Marc Almond, popular composer, pianist, bandleader and broadcaster Jools will be performing with his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, featuring original Squeeze band member and drummer Gilson Lavis, plus guest vocalists Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall.
The show, sponsored by Bradshaw, Gass & Hope, takes place at the start of a four day jazz spectacular which promises to be a treat for music lovers across the region.
Tickets for the show are on sale now. Prices range from £33 to £79 for a VIP Experience which includes front of stage seating and a meal with wine.
