MUSIC maestro Jools Holland has been confirmed as the star act headlining The Wigan International Jazz Festival 2014.

The popular composer, pianist, bandleader and broadcaster will be performing with his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, featuring original Squeeze band member and drummer Gilson Lavis and special guest star Marc Almond, with guest vocalists Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall.

The show takes place at Robin Park Indoor Sports Arena on Thursday 10 July 2014, at the start of a four day jazz spectacular which promises to be a treat for music lovers across the region.
