Cement mixer truck stolen in Wigan

A cement mixer truck was stolen in Wigan.

At 9:27pm on Monday 28 October 2013, a cement mixer truck was stolen from a yard on Queen Street in Wigan.

The Mercedes Axor cement truck, registration GN08 RHA, is worth around £110,000 - With 'Hanson Premix' displayed on the drum.

Police are appealing for information and witnesses.

Police Constable Paul Hamilton said: “The offenders have scaled the perimeter fencing and gained access into the secure compound. A padlock was then removed from the main entrance gates and the offenders have then driven the truck out, closing the gates behind them.

“If you were in the area and remember seeing this truck being driven away or you have any other information about where this truck has been taken, we would very much like to hear from you.”
