Image released after petrol drive offs - Wigan

Police have released an image of a man wanted in connection with three petrol drive offs in the Wigan area.
Just after 3pm on Wednesday 21 March 2012, a man drove onto the forecourt of Tesco on Central Park Way, Wigan and filled his car with just under £80 worth of diesel before driving off without paying.
Approximately half an hour later a man drove to Sainsburys on Worthington Way, Wigan and filled his car before driving off.
The third crime happened the day after at around 1.45pm on Thursday 22 March 2012 at Tesco on Bolton Road.
On all three occasions, a silver Vauxhall Astra reg PN81 LVO was used and approximately £240 worth of fuel was taken.
Police Constable Lynsey Watson from the Volume Crime Team said: “Although people may not see this as a serious offence, especially in the current economic climate, this is still theft.
“If anyone knows who this man is, I would ask them to come forward and contact police.”
