|Images of stolen jewellery - Wigan
Police are urging members of the public who may have had jewellery stolen in Wigan to look at images and contact officers if they recognise them.
During September and October 2011, a number of burglaries took place in the Lowton and Golborne area of Wigan.
Necklaces, rings and a medal were stolen as well as other items, including a Stuart Surridge snooker cue, a brown Moshino manís watch and pink GHD hair straighteners.
The items were discovered at an address in Golborne.
Now police are circulating images in the hope the jewellery will be returned to their rightful owners.
Police Constable Sophie Roberts from Wigan Police Station said: "I would ask anyone who may have had jewellery stolen in the Lowton and Golborne area to take a good look at the images and if they recognise them, they should contact us as soon as possible.
"I am also keen to hear from people who may have fallen victim to this type of crime and had other property taken as it may have been recovered."
If anyone does recognise the jewellery, they are urged to phone police on 0161 856 7249.
