|Vandals target woman's home and car
Vandals threw paint all over a woman's home and car.
It happened at her home on Saxthorpe Close, Winstanley, at about 3am on 6 June 2010.
The two vandals threw white paint over a window at the front of the house, and about 20 minutes later returned and threw more paint over a green Peugeot 206 parked in the driveway.
They then walked off down Derieham Way and turned off into Gayton Close towards Ravenswood.
Police are now appealing to anyone who has information to come forward.
Police Community Support Officer Kathy Terry-Evans said: "I cannot understand the mentality of someone who would wilfully cause so much damage to another person's home and car.
"This woman is facing a hefty repair bill as her car and windows will probably need replacing and some of the paint may not come off the brickwork, which will also need repainting at considerable cost.
"It is very important we find the two people responsible so they can be brought to book for their actions and made to face up to exactly what they have done.
"I would appeal to anyone who has information to come forward. I would also ask parents to think about whether they have washed white paint out of their children's clothes recently and if you do suspect something, do the right thing and call us."
Anyone with information is asked to call Greater Manchester Police on 0161 872 5050 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
