Police were called to a pond on Lady's Lane shortly after 3.50am on Sunday 30 May 2010, following reports of an assault.
It was also reported a 17-year-old boy had gone into the water and had not been seen for some time.

Another boy received minor injuries in an assault.
Superintendent Phil Unsworth of Greater Manchester Police said: "This is a tragic incident where a 17-year-old boy has lost his life in unexplained circumstances.
"Our investigation is still in the very early stages and there are a number of questions yet to be answered but a team of detectives are working hard to establish exactly what happened.
"We have been talking to the people who were at the pond last night and they have been extremely helpful, but there is still gaps we need to fill.
"If anyone has information about what happened or witnessed the incident and has not already been in touch with the police, then please don't hesitate to call.
"Finally, I want to commend the actions of those at the scene who tried to help save the boy.
"We have specially trained officers with the family now to help them through what has happened."
