Leeds Liverpool Canal at Haigh in early spring showing 'Shedfield Bridge'. This carried the railway line between the 'Holly Bank Pit' over the canal to the 'Aleaxandra Pit' and 'Lindsay Pit' and then on to the Whelley Loop Line and in turn to the main North South railway line.

Haigh windmill

Haigh windmill was erected in about 1845 and was used as a pump to deliver water from two ponds to the reservoir at Haigh Brewery, it has recently been renovated by the local community.
