Comments I'm an American, but lived in Wigan during the 1980s when I was the pastor of the Church of Christ in Platt Bridge (Victoria Road). My wife and I have many fond memories and good friends from there -- not to mention two daughters, both born there. Thanks for your very enjoyable and easy-to-navigate site.

Comments This is the best Wigan site I've come across, so much nostalgia, but modern stuff as well, and a great way to communicate with fellow Wiganers. It makes me feel I'm back home when I'm on the site; I visit it regularly to see what's been added. Great work Brian!

How did you find wiganworld?    Looking for a recipe for Savoury Ducks
Comments I am originally from Leigh and of course a lover of old Lancashire food. I have often wondered how to make Savoury Ducks and thought why not try the internet for a recipe. And that is how I found lqqk and the Wigan site. Thanks for the help, I just hope they taste okay.
