  Comments Hi.
In 1977 I worked at Wigan Asda as a Produce Manager trainee. The store was on strike and I stayed in a B&B in Wigan. I was taken by locals to a Dance Hall where they were dancing to Northern Soul Music. I don't think it was the Casino, but it might have been. I remember the dance floor had columns on it. Does anyone know where this may have been.
Thanks .

Comments I noticed Davies SB enquiringly about Henry Moore on the people forum. I believe Henry is my GG grandfather. He was the father of my Gt grandmother Elizabeth Moore who married Samuel Yates. Henry was born in Blackrod. I have further details if interested of Henry's forebears. My email would be available from Ron @Wiganworld

Comments After spending a long time searching for the family of a fallen WW1 soldier from Wigan (Joseph Murphy KLR), I came across your site, which has been so very helpful in finding his family history. Your work is much appreciated. Thank you.
