A Question: Would you give everything up for a girl?

i.e: Sell Up and even leave the UK? (Move to Austria or Switzerland)

They're in Leigh, not Wigan. That's why the Wigan MP hasn't got involved.

To be honest, I don't really see a problem. If immigration says she can't stay then she can't stay. End of. They can hardly say they've made a life here after so short a time, as Harold says, so they'll just have to pack up/sell up and go live in the USA.

When I married my husband, I gave up the opportunity of becoming a Legal Executive to be with him. He was in the Army so immediately after the wedding I went to live in Germany. At the time I didn't speak the language and, apart from my husband, there wasn't another soul in that country that I knew.

I'd no family to visit and I missed my mum and dad desparately as I couldn't just "nip" round to see them. It was hard at first, but you just have to get on with it. I hope things work out fine for them, though. Smile

I agree with every word you've said there, Del. It's like that Asian family who'd lived here for five years, kids in school and parents with jobs etc, but they made them go as well. I'm not racist either, but it's getting a bit peas above sticks now with all the influx of people coming into the country. I don't know how they work things, but it seems a daft way of going about it, to me. Confused

If I was that desperate I couldn't find a girl who would have me in my town, county, let alone my own country, then I probably would.

Is that the situation you're in?

It might not mean desperate Andy, the guy may be in love/or infatuated at the moment.

without knowing the ins n outs which really aint our business we can't give an honest answer

All I'm saying is to consider doing that sort of thing for someone you only know from computer chatter means that there must be something seriously lacking somewhere else in order to turn to that medium.

I suppose it's only the same as folk on here having a meet-up!! If they've met through a chat-room/forum and clicked, then met up and clicked even more, what does it matter how they met??? They got married and had a child so that shows some level of commitment doesn't it???

Honestly and seriously - yes, If I cared enough about her and knew that I wanted to spend my life with here and she felt the same, then a definite yes.
