When I boot up I keep getting a box which says Error MDATA.DAT, how do I fix this please. It's getting annoying. Confused

I changed to a wireless one...then the batteries went so I put my old one back on, that was a few weeks ago, this pop up as only just started to come on the last few days. Sad

What you need to do is reinstall the drivers for your original mouse.

Do you not have a disk that came with the original mouse, if so put it in the drive and run it.
If not you will have to go to the mouse manafacturers web site and download the mouse driver.
