For some reason the sound on my PC has gone off.

I have n't touched owt or disconnected owt.

It was on this morning, but no longer.

Anybody any ideas ?

Biscuit here are some things to check:

Has the cable to the back of your computer been disconected.

Click the speaker button once on the bottom right of your computer and make sure you have not muted sound. Click it twice to bring up the volume control panel where you can check all sounds.

Go to control panel. click sounds and audio devices and check all tabs. You can test the system sounds by highlighting one of the progrm events and pressing the play button.

Cables at the rear OK Speaker volume up OK Mains cable connected OK. Jiggled things about a bit sound now on again. I don't know what I have done but its working again Thanks very much R&C. Embarassed

Might be a lose connection or a dodgy wire going into the speakers.
