There stills, and it dosent matter with interesting photos that tell a story like these if some of them are slightly out of focus.

That is a great collection of photos there.

Just think, 70 years time someone will come across these while doing there family tree and think they have hit the jackpot.

Can just see the smile on there face, the same i have when i come across an old photo relevant to me.

Talking if family trees, my great grandfather and his brother did the carving of the boat mirror in Micks pictures, they worked as master carpenters at the LLCanal boatyard in Wigan. Mick hunted out the carving when I put a request on this Forum some time ago. Grandfather lived in the first cottage in front of Trencherfield Mill, nearest the bridge. They were also Bellringers at St James.

Yes JM and they wont be bothered so much about the quality of the photos as some of the nice photo mate cameramen (and women) brigade who dont get out much.
