I made some comments on PaD about Haigh foundry and Brock Mill foundry, there's no information regarding the site of Brock Mill forge, so was wondering if it was where the Wigan Evening Post was at one time situated.

This is information regarding the forge at Brock Mill.

In the report of the accident in 1864 it states the foundry was extensive, it was also on the bank of the River Douglas, so it could well have been there or over the other side of the river between Brock Mill Lane and Sicklefield footpath, the last time I was down there it was all overgrown with briars.
